Sutton Place New York has always been a special place for Manhattan luxury apartment buyers.
My grandfather had a fabulous duplex at 20 Sutton Place and we had a super view of Queens.
The river views are marvelous especially at dusk and we are always near near the FDR Drive for easy access to Upstate New York and great restaurants.
like the pre-war Sutton Place apartments best and our is the River House where we used to go to de Rham’s dance classes.
These Sutton Place homes today are still very desireable and luxurious.
But also very safe and clean. Many UN Embassy workers live close by as the UN is here too. Therefore there are also numerous excellent international restaurants in the neighborhood.
My favorite Sutton Place apartments are: 50 Sutton Place.
One thing you do miss is the close proximity to Fifth Avenue for me and my puppy to work off steam.
But the park off Sutton Square that runs along the FDR Drive is conveniently.
