I have been educating myself on Emergency Preparedness and alternative energy resources.I am seeking alternative energy resource because within a true Emergency we cannot be sure there will be any energy or power source operational.So I am well on my way to haing the Emergency supplies to complete my Emergency Preparedness plan.So be wise and start on your own Emergency Preparedness plan.Fact it does not matter what the Emergency is.No matter if it’s a Weather Emergency and/or terrorist Emergency and/or social upheavals,any Emergency can leave you with zero important life saving services as in food and water.What will you do ? How long will the Emergency last ? When will normal services & food supplies be reestablished? All the while you wait you and your family are left to manage on your own.Do you have Emergency supplies and Emergency resources and survival skills. Do you have a Emergency Preparedness plan ? Without those important power supplies, Without central heating,Without hot water or any water at all.Without lighting or TV and even no frigerator to have those nice cold beverages .Do you have a Battery powered radio? Fact is the Emergency could leave without a clue what is in fact the Emergency all about . Understand we need water most of all but water supplies would no longer be functional so your home would run dry as well as as you mouth.No water means no toilets .No way to flush away your waste! In a extreme case of Nuclear like a EP weapon attack the radios and TV and all electronic equipemnt is fried useless! Unless somehow the equipment is protected EP but that a very very long shot.. So you left without internet and that cell phones you love! Outside of your city into the countryside area there more chance to be natural resources for one to gather up. In the cities commercial area would soon be emptied of any foods, from being sold or totally looted. And even plants in public areas and home gardens would be quickly stolen soon as people realize the Emergency is lasting much longer then they thought. People would have to make hikes out into the country to survive, even possible abandon the cities and towns, because of the dangerous situation. Suburb peoples often have vegetable gardens or some kind of small yard to grow food .But then again they must have had a Emergency supply of seeds.And of coarse theres only a short season to grow food. One would also have to deal with others seeking their garden produce as their own. Winter means needing a heat supply and few have a wood burning stove on hand.Much less few have a wood supply to even burn.Again we have the problem of others seeking to steal whatever supply you have. All these reasons are why you must think forehand on Emergency Preparedness Plan. In Emergency Preparedness you should think of Emergency food, MRE,Freeze Dried Food,Water Storage ,Survival Kits ,power sources,within any Emergency Preparedness Plan.
